Testimony of Aaron Abramowicz accused of conspiracy against the land rabbi
Interrogation of Aaron Abramowicz from Nowy Wiśnicz, a servant of the land rabbi, accused of conspiracy against the land rabbi of Kraków, on the basis of the questions prepared by the instigator of the Voivode court. He describes the activities of the rabbis of Nowy Korczyn, Stopnica, and Wodzisław who, together with the Ickowicz brothers, the leaseholders from Słuck, sought to remove Dawid Szmelka from the office and appoint Józef Icek Jonowicz, Szmujła Ickowicz's son-in-law. Aaron claimed that he had been forced by them to collect signatures against Dawid Szmelka and blamed Haskel Wulfowicz from Tarnów, the marshal of the land, who urged the land elders to sign and choose a new rabbi during the regional council in Tarłów.
